WOW atelier has a passion for the Parsons table and its rich history, dating back to the 1930s. The Parsons table was designed by John Michel Frank while he was working at the Paris Atelier, which is now known as Parsons Paris. Frank was a teacher at the time and challenged his students to design a table so basic that it would retain its integrity whether it was sheathed in gold leaf, mica, or left unvarnished. It is WOW’s belief that this table holds infinite design possibilities because its form is ultimately perfect in its expression. This motif runs through much of their furniture design and elements of the parson table can be found in every table they design.
Sales Desk: A rift off of the “Parsons Table,” this everyday surface illustrates the idea that relationships with application-based variation create a cohesive design. The maple surfaces are inlaid with Cesar Stone, which–when viewed in the plan–creates the company logo.
Center Desk: This design is focused on centralized “storage and stuff” management. It allows the user to hang or store bags, reducing the amount of visual noise throughout the sales area.
