We were tasked with crafting a home capable of sheltering several generations, a challenge that demanded more than just space—it required a deep understanding of family, of how people move, live, and grow together. We solved for the many variables, weaving together a design that honored the complexities of their lives. An attached casita was created for the live-in parents, offering them their own slice of solitude while remaining close to the heart of the home. A semi-separate wing was carved out for their two teenage boys, allowing them to roam, explore, and claim their independence. James and Julie each received their own home office—distinct, yet bound to the rhythm of the household. Every space was sited with care, designed to draw the eye back to the sweeping beauty of Park City, ensuring that each room framed a view, a glimpse of the wild, untamed land that bound this family to their surroundings.
