a true community-minded group of insiders

For the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, WOW atelier partnered with CIVIC Entertainment to design and fabricate the Sundance Fire TV and Vulture Spot—a space built to connect and inspire.
Hollywood insiders are a discerning and community-minded group, selective about the brands they align with. The Vulture Spot lounge provided an authentic way to engage top-tier talent while positioning Fire TV as a leader in entertainment.

Fire TV bridges the gap between creators and their audiences, bringing people closer to the content they love. At Sundance, this translated into an opportunity to show Hollywood influencers that Fire TV isn’t just a platform—it’s part of the creative community.
Through thoughtful design and a playful, organic environment, WOW atelier created a space where conversations could flow naturally, ideas could spark, and the connection between creators and audiences could shine. The result was an authentic, memorable experience that positioned Fire TV as an essential part of entertainment culture.

the lounge

We didn’t want a standard lounge or waiting room—we saw an opportunity to engage premier Hollywood talent in dynamic, meaningful ways. The setup was designed to introduce guests to the product through immersive experiences while fostering unique, shareable moments. By blending functionality with creativity, the space invited exploration, interaction, and authentic connections.

creative spark

At WOW atelier, we’re thrilled to work with renowned information designer Giorgia Lupi, who created a stunning infographic capturing the journey from Sundance to the living room. This visual masterpiece highlighted which past films have earned awards along the way, celebrating the impact of Sundance films through a blend of data and thoughtful design.

fan art

At WOW atelier, we’re thrilled to collaborate with Deer Dana, the creative duo of Dana Veraldi and Kevin Tekinel, renowned for their hand-drawn portraits of cultural icons. Their distinctive line-drawing style has graced T-shirts and other apparel, capturing the essence of notable figures with simplicity and humor. We designed the perfect prominent location within the space to infuse their unique artistic vision, celebrating the current talented creators and the past Sundance greats through custom wallpaper and curated fan art displays

vulture spot

The Vulture Spot was a four-day exclusive hub for video interviews, photo shoots, and more, featuring A-list talent from Sundance’s top films. This dynamic space brought together Hollywood’s brightest stars, creating a vibrant setting for capturing the essence of the festival while showcasing the year’s most celebrated cinematic talent.
