“It is better to be high-spirited even though one makes more mistakes, than to be narrow-minded and all too prudent”. - Vincent van Gogh

As a young child and adolescent, I was continually in awe of amazing design; be it architecture, fashion, furniture, art or interiors. It became clear later on in college that design was in my bones. I was on a path as a dance major in college until I took the course ‘Introduction to Architecture’. This changed my path. I knew immediately that design was the direction I would pursue. I caught the travel bug in the late 80’s and continue to nurture this ailment as traveling to other cultures influences me from the architecture and design to the sounds, scents, light, food and people. This exposure has been a catalyst for informing and influencing my design.

Each new project brings new challenges as each client has unique needs and wants. Responding to the clients project criteria sets my brain in a perpetual motion of brainstorming which stimulates ideas to present and work through with the client. I have always believed that there is not just one solution to a design problem but several great solutions. Satisfied happy clients is an end result that is rewarding to me.

This is what I do.
